Salomon QST 100 2026
Advanced and expert skiers will love the pure versatility and outright pleasure of the smooth and powerful Salomon QST 100 skis.
The Salomon QST 100 is an amazing option for pure all-mountain freeride skiing because of its shape, profile, and construction.
Why we like it:
Built with a poplar wood core and basalt fibers, this ski has a somewhat simple build, but it punches way above that level due to the shape and profile. These skis have a good amount of power, smoothness, and stability. They do an amazing job at feeling like they have the dampness of metal but with the pep of a wood core ski. With progressive rocker profiles and taper shapes, these skis are suitable and excel in softer snow and more technical terrain.
Who it's for:
Strong and adventurous skiers will get the most out of the QST 100. You value power and stability but still want a mobile ski for tighter spaces, bumps, and woods. Additionally, you want proper flotation for the deeper days, as this ski floats uncommonly well for a 100 mm ski.
Highlights:
We get all new shapes and constructions for 2026, including a full poplar wood core, full basalt stringers, and a new cork damplifier layup in the tips and tails. With fun rocker profiles and smooth taper shapes, this ski adheres to a true all-mountain freeride character, capable and willing to carve a turn and float through fresh all at the same time. In the 180, we’re seeing a turn radius of 17.5-meters to bookend a weight of 1880 g/ski.
