Prunus persica – Nectarine ‘Goldmine’

Medium-sized, white-fleshed nectarine with a deep red-blushed, yellow-greenish skin. Freestone with aromatic, juicy and sweet flesh. Mid-season variety harvesting in January. An old, heritage favourite which is vigorous and very productive. Great for fresh eating and cooking. Self-fertile. Low chill requirement, ideal for a range of regions. Good resistance to leaf curl. Grows approximately 5m high x 3m wide.

Sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well drained soil. Tolerates light frosts. Protect from spring frosts while fresh buds are emerging. Water deeply during dry periods and fruit formation.
