Bacopa lanigera resembles Bacopa caroliniana but differs by more roundish leaves and a more conspicuous, dense, white hair cover on the stems. This plant is suited to pond margins and boggy or wet areas where it can serve as a dense ground cover, or fully submerged to help oxygenate the water.
