Bone Twist 55mm BA702

Brand New Item

A Māori twist carving is commonly called pikorua. It represents two lives or paths intertwined through friendship, love, family, or shared experience.

Its continuous form commonly symbolises:

- an enduring bond
- loyalty and friendship
- two people growing together
- connection despite separation
- life’s different paths meeting again

A double or triple twist may represent several people, families, cultures, or generations joined together. It is often given to someone moving away because it expresses: “Though our paths separate, we remain connected."
