Once described by a customer as “Vogels on steroids", this hearty sourdough is made with a blend of organic spelt and rye flours, packed with sprouted rye grains and a generous mix of pumpkin, sunflower, sesame and linseeds.

It’s a low gluten loaf, with a rich, nutty flavour and dense, satisfying crumb. Perfect thinly sliced for open sandwiches, paired with cheese, or toasted for a wholesome breakfast or lunch. Freezer Friendly

They also freeze beautifully. We recommend pre-slicing and storing in reusable ziplock bags – then it’s as easy as toasting slices straight from the freezer. Good to Know

Naturally fermented, giving this loaf a longer life than most breads.

Baked in tins for the perfect sandwich or toast slice.

Grains on the crust may dehydrate during baking, giving them a firmer bite.

Organic wholemeal and rye flours, along with rye grains, are sourced from Milmore Downs, Canterbury.
