Arisaema franchetianum - juvenile & mature plant

Native to China and discovered by French plant explorer Pere Farges in the early 1900s.

The bold and dramatic stripes of the flower attracted me to paint it several times larger to encourage the viewer to almost want to climb inside the plant.
