OILSKIN / CANVAS PUTTIES

Beating around the bush? If you're a serious bushwhacker a rugged pair of puttees are a must. Whether it be keeping thorns or water out of your boots, these puttees from Outback Trading will look after your feet.

Made from 100% oilskin cotton they are waterproof and tough to boot (sorry about the pun). To use them they have a hook underneath the front to hook into your boots laces and a pair of D-rings which you can affix your choice of underwire (underwire not included). The tops are elasticated to keep a good flexible seal around your calf to keep the elements from seeping in. Removing them quickly is easy with a hook & loop opening with snap domes to keep it firmly in place.

For those who don't require a full length gaiter but need some lower laying protection in the bush & mud - these are for you!
