Mere are a short-handled weapon shaped like a club with a flat elongated edge designed for close combat. Though they were made from a variety of mediums such as wood or bone ones carved from pounamu were highly prized.

Mere are a symbol of courage, respect, strength and overcoming challenges.

Comes with a Koha (gift) of a 30cm x 30cm Korowai to use for presentation purposes.

Made in from South Island Tangiwai Pounamu with beautiful shades of green colouring.
