Designed for use with Pearl Ex Pigments, this water-based varnish can be used as a medium and as a top coat. It works well on paper, clay, metal, wood or plastic and cleans up easily with water. It can also be used to make lustrous metallic paints, glazes and durable finishes on a variety of surfaces. Available in 2.25 oz. bottles.

Use as a binder medium, emulsifier and film former. Combine with pigments such as Pearl-Ex and water to make transparent water colors. It will produce a glossy, easy brushing or stamping solution and is easily mixed and cleaned up with water. Prepared solutions can be stored for convenience.

Synthrapol is used to prevent backstaining, which will result if the excess dye is not removed when dying. It is a mild soap specifically made to suspend and carry the dye from the fiber. Rinse the fiber thoroughly with a small amount of synthrapol, then add one tablespoon to each wash load when laundering the fresh dyes.
