100 Olive Wood Extra Virgin Olive Oil

100 Olive Trees were planted at Cape Rodney, Leigh in 1994. They chose 4 varieties with the goal of oil production. It worked and they have annual successful harvests. Their grove is on the coast and the salt breeze deters pests and disease negating the need to spray.

The pressing is a blend of four varieties handpicked and mechanically pressed. A late April harvest gives a mix of ripeness from green hues to black olives. This has produced a vibrant flavour with hints of pepper and a lingering buttery walnut finish.

Enjoy on your salads, vegetables, fish, bread, over pasta and in all cooking.
