CASA Hebel Blocks
Casa Hebel blocks are precision-engineered building elements made from waterproof extruded polystyrene (XPS), coated on both sides with fibreglass mesh embedded in a polymer-modified mortar. Measuring 1250mm in length, these lightweight yet rigid blocks offer outstanding moisture resistance, strength, and thermal insulation.
Ideal for use in wet area construction such as bathrooms, showers, and wet rooms, Casa Hebel blocks are completely waterproof and rot-proof, making them an excellent substrate for tiling. They’re easy to cut and shape with a knife, allowing for fast, flexible installation across a range of applications.
Casa Hebel blocks can be adhered directly to most subfloors or wall surfaces using tile adhesive, with no mechanical fixings required for most installations. Thicker block options can also be used to build platforms, plinths, shower bases, seating areas, and other custom structures in tiled environments.
By reducing heat loss into subfloors, Casa Hebel blocks also support underfloor heating efficiency and help lower long-term energy costs.
