Please note: This antenna is ground dependent so the metal body of your vehicle will provide the ground. The best position for maximum transmission with the lowest SWR is in the centre of the roof. It can be mounted elsewhere, such in the corner of the bonnet but this generally increases the SWR and changes the transmission pattern due to the ground plane effect.
