Metrosideros kermadecensis Variegata

A compact, bushy evergreen New Zealand native with attractive green foliage broadly margined in cream-yellow, providing year-round colour and contrast. In summer, rich red pōhutukawa flowers appear against the variegated foliage, attracting nectar-feeding birds and bees.

An adaptable and hardy plant well suited to coastal conditions, hedging, informal screening, containers and feature planting. Thrives in full sun with free-draining soil and is tolerant of wind, salt spray and dry conditions once established. Responds well to clipping.
