Ophiopogon Hosoba Kokuryū
a fine leaved form of mondo grass with striking, deep purple black foliage that provides bold contrast in the garden. More delicate and grass-like than Ophiopogon nigrescens, it produces small lilac flowers in summer, followed by glossy black berries.
Exceptionally versatile, Black Dragon is effective as a mass planting, edging plant or underplanting in containers and shady borders. Tolerant of a wide range of conditions including sun, shade, dry or damp soils. Hardy and low maintenance, making it an ideal choice for modern, low-care landscapes.
