Pratia angulata
commonly known as Panakenake, is a fast-growing, low spreading ground cover that thrives in damp, shady sites, though it will also flourish in sunnier spots with adequate moisture. Its dense, trailing growth quickly fills gaps and creates a lush carpet of greenery.
In summer, adorned with delicate white, star-shaped flowers that provide a cheerful display. These are followed by small, pinkish-red berries, adding a touch of colour and interest to the plant. Hardy and evergreen, a versatile and low-maintenance choice for ground cover making it ideal for shaded areas, garden beds or as a filler plant.
