Perovskia atriplicifolia
commonly known as Russian Sage, is a robust and easy care perennial that forms a bushy clump of soft, green aromatic foliage. In summer it is topped with a cloud of lavender to purple blue flowers, creating a beautiful, airy haze above the foliage.
Perfect for dry or sunny gardens, Russian Sage is highly drought tolerant once established and thrives in free-draining soil and full sun. It is semi evergreen in mild climates and its finely textured foliage provides interest even when not in bloom.
An excellent choice for coastal gardens, gravel borders or mixed perennial plantings, offering colour, texture and resilience with minimal maintenance.
