Lachenalia namaquensis

A striking winter-flowering bulb endemic to South Africa’s Namaqualand region. produces slender, strappy green leaves and charming clusters of small magenta to bluish flowers held on upright stems in late winter.

Thrives in full sun to partial shade in a well-drained, sheltered position. Ideal for rock gardens, containers or Mediterranean-style plantings. Summer dormant and well-suited to dry-season rest.
