Rhodohypoxis Fred Broome
A delightful bulbous perennial originating from the mountainous regions of South Africa, forms neat clumps of fine, grass-like foliage topped with masses of soft pink, star-shaped flowers in spring. Its compact size and prolific flowering make it ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens or edging sunny beds.
This hardy plant thrives in well-drained soil in full sun to light semi-shade. Avoid winter wet, as it prefers a drier dormancy. Regular deadheading encourages a long flowering season and keeps plants tidy.
