Fuchsia magellanica
A hardy, semi-evergreen shrub native to Chile and Argentina, known for its graceful, pendulous red and purple flowers that appear in abundance throughout summer. These are often followed by small black fruits. Vigorous and upright in habit, this fuchsia makes a striking addition to semi-shaded garden areas. Trim regularly to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. Suitable for a range of climates, it performs well across much of New Zealand.
