Protea Longifolia

a hardy, evergreen South African shrub with an upright to spreading habit and curved, grey-green foliage. Large, unusual flowerheads appear from autumn through spring, peaking during winter. The creamy white to pale pink blooms feature a distinctive dark, bearded tip, adding architectural interest and making them suitable for floral arrangements.

Thrives in full sun with very well-drained, acidic soil and good air circulation. Drought tolerant once established and benefits from pruning after flowering to maintain a compact shape. Tolerates moderate or light-to-moderate frosts (typically down to around -2°C to -4°C)
