Jerry's Place Tee
From Hell’s Angels and hippies to Hollywood stars and musicians, Jerry’s Place on the Sunset Strip hosted all of the counterculture’s milieu. A notorious 1950’s dive bar, it was closed down in the mid 60s due to repeated drug busts. It re-opened in 1968 and was renamed after the Grateful Dead frontman, quickly becoming a mecca for disparate outcasts across West Hollywood’s social strata, it’s skeleton logo complete with half a right middle finger just like Jerry.
