Elephant Of Indecision

literally popped into my head one night on the cusp of sleep. I like the idea of a big solid strong character being ‘immobilised’ with doubt. I have taken the metaphor where emotions/thoughts are ‘written on our forehead’ and expanded it a little.

The background is dark and moody, and the elephant seeks comfort from his teddy, who I perceive to be the core of our inner selves and keeper of our deepest secrets and emotions. The lamp alongside is a symbol of hope, a beacon of good keeping the darkness at bay.
