Love Me. Go On.

Mr Balloon Face is an individual. Balloons are a source of happy occasions, parties and fun. They are colourful, vibrant and joyful – yet at the same time are fragile and easily popped. This makes them a wonderful metaphor of life.

Craving for affection, Mr Balloon Face is filled with innocence and takes comfort from his toys. The toy rocket and teddy are linked together via the target on teddy’s belly, and the hidden meaning behind them is one of self-destruction. Sometimes we are the creators of our own demise.

Stars feature a lot in my work – they represent the fire burning within, the desire to strive for goals and dreams. They are inspired from ‘The Sneetches’ by Dr Suess.

All Cribb art prints are made to order. We work on all orders as fast as we can, but prints can take up to 15 working days to process and frame. Shipping time is additional. Unframed prints are faster and take approximately 5 days to process.
