Holden Commodore VE VF Calais Rear Brake Pads - BP1500
Genuine Bosch BP1500 rear brake pad set, catalogued as DB2267BL. Seven complete sets here.
Rear axle, standard calipers, not Brembo. Bendix are explicit about that. The Redline VFII with the four piston Brembo takes a different pad, so if your car has Brembos this is not the one.
Eleven years of Commodore. Bendix's own catalogue lays it out by model and engine:
- Commodore VE, 7/2006 to 10/2013, 3.0 and 3.6 V6, and the 6.0 V8
- Commodore VE 6.0 Redline, rear only, different front
- Commodore VF, 5/2013 to 12/2014, 3.0 and 3.6
- Commodore VF SS and SS-V 6.0, 5/2013 to 9/2015
- Commodore VF 6.2 from 9/2015
On top of that, the Calais and Calais V VF including Sportwagon, the SV6 and Evoke, the LPG VF 3.6, the VF Ute, and the Caprice WM and WN from 2006 to 2017.
We stock two VE rear pads, and they are not the same. Our Bosch BP1799, catalogue number DB1766, is listed for the Bosch caliper with the acoustic wear sensor. This one, DB2267, is listed for the standard non-Brembo caliper. Holden did not fit one rear caliper across the whole run. Look at what is on the car, or send us the rego and we will sort it out.
The pad. Four pads, roughly 121mm long, 51.5mm wide and 15mm thick. Cross references to FMSI D1352.
Fitment
Commodore, Calais, Caprice or Statesman of that era on the rear, with standard calipers. Rego through and we will confirm the caliper before anything ships.
Fitting
- Check for Brembo callipers before you start. Red paint and four pistons means you want a different pad.
- The rear piston winds in rather than pushing. Use the right tool.
- Both sides at once, then bed them in gently.
- Reset the handbrake properly afterwards or it will drag.
Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
