Holden Cruze Trax Front Brake Pads - OE+ DB2268EF
OE DB2268EF front brake pad set. Organic, copper free. Five sets in stock.
Half the price of the same number in town. Supercheap Auto list the Bosch version of DB2268 at $127.99, and theirs is a special order. Ours is on the shelf.
Where it goes. DB2268 is the front set for the GM small car platform built in Korea, which is why the box says Chevrolet and Daewoo:
- Holden Cruze JH, including the 1.6 SRi and the 2.0 diesel wagon
- Chevrolet Cruze
- Chevrolet Orlando, 2012 to 2017
- Chevrolet Trax, 2012 to 2017
Plenty of Cruzes here, and the fronts wear out well before anything else on the car does.
Organic and copper free, which is the point of this box. Organic means a non-asbestos organic friction material rather than semi-metallic. It runs quieter, it is kinder to the disc, and it makes less of the black dust that coats a set of alloys. Copper free means the compound meets the copper restrictions that have come in overseas, so there is no copper washing off your brakes and into the stormwater.

Fitment
Anything calling for DB2268 on the front. Give us the rego and we will confirm the variant, because the Cruze came with more than one front setup depending on trim.
Fitting
- Cold car, and crack the wheel nuts before you jack it.
- Organic pads bed in faster than semi-metallic, but still take it steady for the first week.
- Do the pair. The Cruze will pull noticeably if you only do one side.
- Have a look at the disc thickness while the caliper is off.
Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
