You can dose with the Forté-BG either by weight or time. Our patented dose-by-weight is precise to within a milligramme or two.Two grammes. Your screen is brought to life with touch activation and LED backlighting. With three programmed dose presets, up and down arrows to adjust dosage quantities, and TARE, MANUAL, START, or STOP, the touch screen manages every operation.

BURRRS

The 54 mm steel burrs that come with the Forté-BG grinder give a precise and reliable grind for a range of manual and small batch brews. Our steel burrs were made with the express purpose of lowering particulates and improving cup flavour. The Forté-BG burrs are outstanding due to their wide range of grind (230 microns to 1150 microns) and their thin particle distribution (no fines).

ROUGHING IN/GRIND RANGE

A stable grind setting and a good feel are produced by an all-metal macro and micro adjustment system. The macro-adjust has ten unique, repeatable settings that range from fine to coarse grinding. Each of the ten macrosteps is further divided into 26 different settings by a supplementary micro-adjust. These procedures make it easy to fine-tune, ensuring that the grind is precisely right for the chosen brew method.

HOPPIER

The capacity of the hopper is about 300g of coffee. The collar's unique bean shutdown mechanism makes it possible to change out beans without any mess or hassle by simply removing the hopper. After the hopper is turned off, the average amount of bean "waste" (behind the stopper) is a startlingly little 10g.

RE-SETTING THE BURRS

To guarantee an exact range of grind, the Forté-BG is calibrated at the factory. If required, the unique calibration tool included with the grinder can be used to quickly re-calibrate the Forté-BG burrs.

CLEANING BURRS

Your Forté comes with a cast zinc tool that makes it simple to remove burrs for cleaning.

GUARANTEE

Forté Grinders have a one-year limited warranty, or fifty hours of total motor run time, whichever comes first.
