The Toki (adze) is far more than a carving tool; it is a symbol of unwavering determination and mastery. Its blade demanded precision, strength, and respect; qualities that transformed it into a symbol of power and leadership often worn as a pendant by chiefs and elders. Today, it serves as a talisman, inspiring the wearer to face life's challenges with the same resilience and skill as the ancestors who wielded it.
The Pikorua (twist) is a beautiful symbol of everlasting connection, loyalty, and the intertwining of lives. A cherished gift between friends, whānau (family), or allies, the pikorua signifies strength in unity and the beauty of shared journeys.
The sacred stone of Aotearoa. Pounamu of this beautiful land encompasses nephrite jade, serpentine, and tangiwai (bowenite). To the Māori of New Zealand, Pounamu (greenstone) is more than just a stone, it is a taonga (treasure) woven into the spiritual and cultural fabric of their ancestors. Revered as a gift from the gods, it carries the mana (prestige) of the land and the strength of the rivers.
Pounamu is a gift from the heart and as such should be displayed with respect and pride.
