The Hood Air Cooled Shades

This cooled shade includes built in lamp and is suitable for bulbs up to 1000w.

These must be used with a fan to draw the heat away from the glass. Removing this heat from the bulb means less heat in your growing space and the plants can grow closer to the light.

This air cooled shade has a sliding tempered glass panel which can be removed if you are wanting the heat from the bulb in your growing space. The polished, dimpled, aluminium internal shade lining is an excellent light reflector that will reduce heat spots within your growing area.

You can link several air cooled shades together using ducting and only use one exhaust fan to extract the hot air from all of them. We recommend using aluminium ducting and tape with these shades as a safety precaution because plastic heavy duty ducting could melt from the heat being exhausted through it.
