Patola takes its structure from handloom-woven textiles — patterned stripes built up in fine, fabric-like detail, echoing the texture of cloth created on a traditional loom.

In Charcoal, the stripes run in dark grey tones against a deeper charcoal ground, for a low-contrast finish.
