A handcrafted sharpening steel made in New Zealand with a sustainable wool fibre handle. The off white handle replaces plastic with something more eco, more beautiful, and strong.
The steel surface is a No. 3 Cut, a general purpose sharpening h coarse enough to bring even the dullest kitchen blade back to life.

The black steel holds its texture longer and resists rust. Light in the hand. Steady in use. Built to keep your knives performing for years.

What makes these "Almost Perfect" are small variations in the wool handle colour. Something we love, but retailers didn't. The natural shift in the colour that does not affect grip, balance or function. It is simply what happens when real wool is shaped by hand.
