Allow 16.4w for every metre and add about 20% headroom. One 5 metre length draws 82w, so a 100w 24v driver suits. A full 15 metre run from a single feed draws 246w and needs a 300w driver. At 16.4w per metre this strip produces noticeable heat, so mount it in an aluminium profile to draw heat away, protect the strip and extend its life. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip, and add a diffuser for the smoothest line.
