Hannah Sheehan is a self-taught silversmith and carver who creates beautifully unique jewellery from her studio in Auckland. This lovely bangle is made from sterling silver and New Zealand Pounamu.
The Caim was the Celtic tradition of casting a protective ring or circle. It is practised on oneself or on someone for whom one wishes to pray/bless/love. Caim is a Gaelic word that means 'protection' or 'sanctuary'.
