- Tony Harrington Born in the Hawkes Bay and based in Ahuriri Tony has been a full-time artist for 10 years now with graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Art & Design majoring in 3D & furniture Design. Tonys current art practice is an ever evolving exploration of our cultural landscape here in Aotearoa and is influenced by his surroundings and its people.
This artwork showcases the progressive dawn of hope following the destruction caused by Cyclone Gabriel in Tony's hometown of Te Matau a Māui - Hawke's Bay. Emerging from the shadows, every day brings a sense of positivity and rejuvenation.
