The Odor Control Technician (OCT) course covers olfaction and odour, odour sources, detection process, theory of odour control, equipment, chemical options and applications.
The student will learn how to address odours caused from biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, and mould, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals.

NB: The course registration fee does NOT include IICRC exam registration fees. Exam fees are paid directly to the IICRC separately. The IICRC exam fee for this course is currently $75 AUD paid on the IICRC website
