Kowhai Enamel Drop Earrings

The Kowhai flower can be found on the New Zealand native tree. The Kowhai holds the unofficial status as our national flower. The Maori tribe, Te Arawa has the legend that a magic man created the blossoming of the tree in order to convince a girl to marry him.

Made with true vitreous enamel (hard fired glass) painstakingly applied by hand to sterling silver.
