Kowhai Enamel Pendant in Yellow Gold

The Kowhai flower can be found on the New Zealand native tree. The Kowhai holds the unofficial status as our national flower. The Maori tribe, Te Arawa has the legend that a magic man created the blossoming of the tree in order to convince a girl to marry him. Made with true vitreous enamel (hard fired glass) painstakingly applied by hand to 18ct yellow gold. The Vitreous coloured enamel adds a sublime finish to this pendant.​

Pendant measures 18mm long by 10mm wide. Pendant sits on an 18ct yellow gold trace chain measuring 45cm long.
