Manhattan: Radiant Cut Diamond Solitaire Ring

The beautiful radiant cut diamond was resting loose on my desk and the sun was shining in. The stone was dispersing and spreading light into shafts and rays of brilliance. It was those rays that I wanted to capture into lines of metal that would wrap back around the stone to hold it as a ring on the hand. The light has been turned into metal, an extension of the diamond itself.

Lines of platinum that resemble facets of light secure a radiant diamond. The ring pictured on model is crafted in platinum and features a 1ct diamond.
