Mt Cook Buttercup Earrings

These Mt. Cook Lily flower earrings look so beautiful on, and are so easy to wear. They come packed in a beautiful Wildside Gifts jewellery box and the earrings are specially treated with rhodium so that they are slow to tarnish.

According to the online encyclopedia of New Zealand "The Mt Cook lily (Ranunculus lyallii) was first described by surgeon David Lyall, who sailed around New Zealand on the Acheron in 1848. It is not in fact a lily but a buttercup – the world’s largest."

This flower adorns the pathways of many of the iconic South Island Great Walks such as the Milford Track.

Sterling silver.
