Located in one of Chile's oldest wine regions, Viña Echeverría is a family-run winery that dates back to 1930. The family have combined their French heritage and ethos of sustainability to create a wide variety of organically grown grapes. The Merlot Reserva 2018 is smooth and fruity with intense berry aromas and spicy undertones of pepper and dried fruits. This Merlot is a blend, containing 5% Carménère grapes - adding rich fruit characteristics and a greater depth of flavour. This versatile wine is easily sipped over a charcuterie board, with roast chicken, lightly spiced or tomato-based Italian dishes.
