Miner’s Right Pinot Gris 2024
Tasting notes
Fresh aromas of nashi pear and orange blossom on the nose lead into a rich but balanced palate with excellent fruit weight and a long, clean and morish finish.
Food match: Antipasto, roast chicken and seafood
Winemaking notes
The fruit was hand harvested on the 9th of April 2024 at 22.7 Brix from the Three Miners Vineyard, near Alexandra. The fruit was whole-bunch pressed and allowed to settle in tank for 24 hrs before being racked, warmed and inoculated with selected yeast. The juice was fermented at a cool temperature to retain flavour. Fermentation was stopped once flavour, sugar and acid balance was reached.
