This 30-minute discovery call is designed to help you identify the specific areas where you need support. We'll discuss your goals, challenges, and opportunities, allowing us to pinpoint the exact mentoring, coaching or business training you need to drive your business forward. This is your opportunity to gain clarity and set a clear path to success, all in a focused, no-obligation conversation.

Funding Sources
The discovery call is free - however if you are looking for training & coaching support, there are a range of funding sources that can assist new small business owners. A number of them require at least 12 months operating and financial statements to access any grants or loans.
If you are still in the first 12 months operating and will not be able to access these grants or loans, the below sources may be an option;
Ministry of Social Development

If you are currently out of work and meet the MSD criteria, you may be able to access the Business Training & Advice Grant to assist you to plan to start a new business. If approved, MSD will fund a provider to assist you with business skills training, developing a business plan, getting business advice, or obtaining an independant vetting report or financial report.
Regional Business Partner Network

The fund provides business owners with 50% subsidy of training costs from approved Service Providers (including Tuhi Stationery), up to a maximum of $5,000 GST per year.
First step to access fund is to register your business with the Regional Business Partners Network, and once approved, to meet with your local business growth advisor to identify your training needs for your business. At this stage, you can discuss retaining our services to support your business management training.
Poutama Trust
Poutama Trust may also assist you to connect with training support via their networks.
Te Puni Kokiri
As at September 2024, it is unclear what Te Puni Kokiri will be supporting through their Maori Enterprises division or fund, but details can be found here.
Iwi & Hapu Trusts
Your own iwi or hapu may have business support in place, or is advisable to also check in with them about what options are available to support your business development.
