Friday 2nd October 2026, designed to prepare riders for the Secondary Schools DH Champs with all the small details that can make the difference.

A big focus of the day is helping riders work through the new course, line choice awareness, speed management and more. Riders will have the opportunity to break down sections of the Secondary Schools DH Course, understand where and how to make easy gains, and develop a clearer approach to putting together a complete race run.

The riding will be challenging and progressive, with plenty of time spent on the bike developing skills and applying them to the course. Rather than simply doing laps, riders will learn how to assess a section, make decisions, adapt their riding and build speed while maintaining control. We will also look at the preparation required around riding, warming up, getting organised and approaching race runs with a clear plan.
