Kohlrabi

, scientifically known as Brassica, is a nutritious cruciferous vegetable that belongs to the same family as cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. Despite its alternate name as German turnip, kohlrabi is not a root vegetable and should not be confused with turnips.
