SOHO Zabeel 2014, Waiheke

A blend of Merlot, Syrah and Malbec from an outstanding Waiheke vintage. This is the first vintage of Zabeel, named after a famous New Zealand racehorse. A dense, silky red with intense plum, dark berry, violet and subtle savoury/spicy oak flavours. Very impressive wine that promises to age very well indeed although it is surprisingly accessible now. Elegance on a grand scale.
