The 51 is Brazil's best-selling cachaça. It is imported from the eponymous town in the state of São Paulo, where the company has its headquarters.

Cachaça is a rum-like Brazilian spirit. Sugar cane is fermented then distilled to produce a clean-flavoured spirit. Widely used in cocktails, the most famous of which is the Caipirinha with lime juice, sugar and iced water.
