Kelly Washington Syrah 2021

Our Syrah hails from a small coastal vineyard in conversion to organics, on the magnificent Island of Waiheke, an island located off the coast of Auckland with a wonderful climate to grow Syrah. Mineral reach clay soils combined with mature vines reveal a heady perfumed aroma, with a vibrancy of fruit, freshness and savoury undertones delivering an elegant expression of Syrah. The fruit was hand picked and fermented with 15% whole bunches before residing in French oak barrels for 12 months and bottled without filtration or fining.
