Flywheel bolt - Porsche 986 Boxster, 996, 997, 987 Boxster and Cayman

Many of the fasteners used in your Porsche s drivetrain and engine are single-use only, that is, they should be replaced rather than reused once they ve been torqued down in service.

This includes the fasteners that hold your flywheel on, which should always be replaced.

The factory torque values for the flywheel pan-head screw (M10 x 1 x 50) are:

Initial torque 25Nm (18 ft/lb), followed by a final torque of 90 degrees.
