ABS / wheel-speed sensor - 986 Boxster, 996 (all)

The wheel-speed or ABS sensors on your Porsche are critical - not only do they ensure your anti-lock braking is fully active, on PSM cars they re also an essential input into the vehicle stability control system (VSC). If these fail, not only will you have an ABS and/or PSM warning light illuminated, you ll have no anti-lock braking and PSM - not ideal, even for those of us who enjoy recreational oversteer!
