Beautiful Jade Fishhook Wayne Costar Jade Carver

The fishhook is symbolic for the searching for fulfillment on the journey of life.

This fishhook has been carved from a very beautiful jade, bright green and quite chatoyant in the smokey inanga zone in the body of the hook.

Quite a stunning nicely translucent jade self collected ages ago. Unusual in the variation of colours and the chatoyancy (shimmer) in the clear area of the stone.

The shape has a lovely flow to it and I am pleased with the way it turned out!

This piece is 8cm high and 4cm widest and the traditional lashing leads into an adjustable neck cord.
