Go gently
A little polish now and then is all you need. Use light, even strokes and polish only when needed. Take extra care with gold-plated pieces, as frequent polishing or too much pressure can gradually wear the plated finish.

Care for your cloth, and your jewellery
Avoid gemstones, pearls and deliberately darkened or oxidised details. Don’t wash the cloth, as this will remove its special treatment. Keep it out of reach of children and wash your hands after use.
